Best Pet Competition

National Pet Month's aims are to promote responsible pet ownership, make people aware of the benefits of pets for people and people for pets and to raise awareness of the role, value and contribution to society of working companion animals.

To join in the fun, here at Canterbury we will be holding the Best Pet Competition on Friday 13 April.  We will be asking our licensees to post photos and short stories about their pets and each entry will be judged.  There will be tasty pet treat prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.  We hope that Pets At Home will come along and judge the competition, otherwise the Basepoint staff, who are all pet parents, will judge the competition, showing no favouritism whatsoever for their own furry friends.

As the Centre is dog friendly, dog owners are also encouraged to bring their pets along for the day.
