Another Successful Hub
On Wednesday 9th May Basepoint Dartford held a B2B Networking Hub for both licensees and businesses within the local community to meet, mingle and exchange business cards.
The Networking Hub had a great atmosphere due to representatives from over 35 different companies in attendance - from those with a legal background, to flooring experts to recruitment agents. This gave plenty of opportunities for our delegates to build on existing business relationships and also potentially generate new leads.
The scheduled guest speaker was Zoe Cairns from ZC Social Media (pictured); Zoe gave an interesting presentation on social media and how it can be a powerful tool when used correctly to market a business. A tip that generated a lot of interest and conversation was the use of Facebook Live, which Zoe considers to be a free but underused feature. We're glad to report that several people have since told us that they've been practising using the Live function on their personal accounts so that they're comfortable facilitating it on their business' social media pages.
A champagne business card draw followed by a complimentary fish and chip lunch by Flo's Fryer ended the event perfectly.
