Basepoint Licensees Celebrate Suffolk Day
Basepoint licensees were treated to a BBQ by local butcher George Debman.
Suffolk Day may still be in its infancy- having only run for the last 2 years, but Basepoint Ipswich staff have made sure to get behind it and celebrate with licensees all that it means to live in Suffolk.
With BBC Radio suffok playing tunes and broadcasting Suffolk Day events in the background, licensees enjoyed locally sourced and freshly cooked food by Suffolk butcher George Debman and filled up on salads and soft drinks.
Attended by over 100 people, it gave businesses based in the centre the perfect opportunity to meet each other and network informally.
Alongside enjoying the day, centre staff thought it would present a perfect opportunity to raise funds for national charity 'Solving Kids Cancer' which is a charity close to the heart of one of our licensees as their child battles neuroblastoma.
The total raised should be confirmed shortly, but is believed to be over £200.
