Centre staff and licensees made good use of donating clothes, furniture, books and much more to the local YMCA.
In June we received a lovely letter from the YMCA England shop in Bromsgrove. Elaine the centre manager had recently moved house and had lots of unwanted items that she would rather donate than just simply throw away. Elaine invited the licensees from Basepoint to bring in any items that they would also like to donate. These items were placed in the Bromsgrove shop and put up for sale. So far they have managed to raise £416.82 with other items still left to sell.
The YMCA work to give young people a brighter future. It takes time, it takes hard work and it takes the on-going generosity of supporters. They believe if they can make a difference to the life of just one young person per day, it is worth it.
