RideFest for St Elizabeth Hospice
Centre staff are in the process of creating their winning team!
Basepoint Ipswich staff and licensees will be taking part in 'RideFest' this February, a centre based static bike challenge, in order to raise funds for St Elizabeth Hospice.
Teams have 30 minutes to cover the most distance they can and will go head to head with other competing companies.
The team are hoping to raise over £350, which is the equivalent cost of funding 8 individual therapy sessions for a patient to help them come to terms with the loss of a family memberistant
Manager Leanne Martin commented; "We have been scoping out the keen runners and cyclists we have in our centre and approaching them to help make the best team we can! All the licensees taking part are excited and looking forward to it, whilst centre staff (who may or may not even own bikes) are suitably apprehensive."
