On Friday 15th March Basepoint Chepstow held a Charity Bake Sale in aid of Comic Relief. Comic Relief was launched in 1985 and has since then raised over £1 billion supporting vulnerable people and communities throughout the UK and internationally. People throughout the country can get together to raise money at home, at work and at school to help towards creating a just world free from poverty.
Delicious bakes of all varieties were brought in to raise money; from muffins and pastries to welsh cakes and doughnuts. One of our licensees very generously baked a banana and crunchie loaf cake and a lemon and almond shortbread. Needless to say, both home baked goodies went in double quick time!
Our Bake Sale raised a fantastic £100.69 for Comic Relief. We would like to say a huge thank you to all our licensees who donated cakes and to all who came along to support us and give generously.
