Netley Marsh Steam Rally 2019

Romsey

Hampshire's biggest steam and craft show was this weekend on 26th, 27th and 28th July. Netley Marsh Steam Rally. Netley Marsh is located 7 miles away from the historical town of Romsey.

Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show was first held in 1971, when it was a one day show and called The Puffin, and local steam engine owners brought along their engines to entertain the visitors.

The show is a fun filled day out with the family, you’ll love Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show! As we go into our 48th year, you can see that from the very beginning every year we aim for the best. We have a large committee which enables us to host a wide range of attractions that everyone can enjoy from steam engines to motorcycles and cars.

Following the success of that aim and the general enjoyment that was had by everyone who attended the show, it was decided that this should be an annual event.

The show has been going ever since, now a three day event with traction steam engines and a wide and varied range of vintage vehicles and engines, added to which there is always a wide range of entertainments for all ages.

A number of charities are supported locally, in return for the help freely given to help in the smooth running of the show. The local scouts, church and school members, rugby club, canoe and diving clubs, plus many others.
