Great Binfields Primary School win our 'Join us and grow' sunflower competition

Congratulations to everyone at Great Binfields Primary School for their winning sunflower for the Basingstoke area in our 'join us and grow' competition. The Gardening Club worked endlessly carrying water from one end of their school to the other where their sunflowers are planted. They were rewarded by not only having a sunflower which grew to an outstanding 200cm but also will be presented in September with £250.00 worth of book vouchers. Well done to all involved.

Sunshine and Sunflowers at Basepoint in Swindon

The join us and grow campaign has been a great success with the schools taking part in Swindon. Encouraged by the last few weeks of sunny weather and the constant care by the schools, their staff and children, the sunflowers have been shooting up.

Sea Air Spells Success for School Sunflower!

It was success for those Canterbury schools who participated in a sunflower competition as part of Basepoint’s “join us and grow” campaign with their sunflowers growing magnificently in the remaining few weeks. St Alphege Church of England Primary School continued the trend they began from the start by growing the tallest plant out of the schools participating in the Canterbury area, measuring over two metres high, reaching a grand height of 209cm.
