Amazing Charity Fundraising at Basepoint Gosport
September has been a fantastic fund raising month at Basepoint Gosport
£234.58 was raised for childhood cancer awareness -Ripley`s Charity which helps children and families affected by cancer.Temp .Julie made it her mission to sell as many sweet cones as possible to support licencee Steve Williams of Sawmill Joinery who is assisting his sister in collecting funds for this very worthwhile charity.
Over £200.00 was collected for MacmIllan during the coffee and cake event which took part at the centre,licencees and staff very generously baked and supplied cakes for the event which was also attended by Macmillan representatives who have arranged that all monies collected by Basepoint will be allocated to sufferers in the Gosport and Lee on Solent areas.
