Basepoint Andover collected items throughout December to donate to the local Andover Foodbank. Staff and licensees all contributed to make the Christmas period more enjoyable for those in the local community needing their service.
Crates weighing a total of 19KG were donated just before the Christmas break, including essentials such as sugar and long life milk, to more festive items such as mince pies and puddings.
Lucy Middleton, General Manager, comments "We wanted to get involved for the community leading up to the Christmas period. Earlier in November we hosted a LinkedIn Local event which raised £130 for the food bank. We wanted to go a step further and also get some donations together, to improve someones Christmas who is in need of the service. We received a thank you letter which was very appreciated and has been shown to all those who donated."
