Tewkesbury company offers free breakfast and lunch to staff amid cost-of-living crisis

Tewkesbury

A Gloucestershire insurance company is providing free breakfast and lunch to employees each day in a bid to support workers amid the cost-of-living crisis. Tewkesbury-based Kingsbridge Insurance said it wanted to show staff “extra support” as many people struggle with rising food prices and bill hikes. The range of breakfast items includes cereals; an assortment of bread; porridge; and fresh fruit. Lunch includes salads; soups; jacket potatoes; and sandwich fillers. Staff are also provided with free tea, coffee, chilled soft drinks and juices.

As well as free food, Kingsbridge, recently started using Perkbox - an employee rewards platform that offers discounts to staff on big brands such as Greggs, Tesco and Argos. Offers include deals on food and drink from supermarkets and takeaways; tech and electronics such as mobile phones and computers; home and garden including appliances; health and beauty such as gym memberships; and entertainment such as cinema tickets, books and events.
