Remembrance Day 2022 services in Tewkesbury

Tewkesbury

Armistice Day (Friday, November 11) will mark 104 years since the end of the First World War, which saw Britain lose 880,000 young men, or two per cent of the entire population. Remembrance Sunday (November 13), became the official day of commemoration following the Second World War.

Teweksbury will be host to its annual Remembrance Parade, led by the Town Band, from around 9am. Veterans and band members will set off from Sun Street, before proceeding down High Street and ending at the Abbey.

A Service of Remembrance will take place from 10am, with the two-minute silence at 11am. There will be a Choral Evensong at the Abbey from 5pm.
