I met the Centre Manager of Basepoint Northfleet, at an ABC Networking Breakfast and was very interested to hear during her 60 second introduction about Basepoint - both the opportunity for office space and the networking events she mentioned she hosted. I subsequently attended both the lunch and a coffee morning that Michelle organised and am now a regular attendee. In fact I have even presented as guest speaker at the Networking Hub. The atmosphere at Basepoint that the management team creates is quite unique being very informal and yet very business focused. Everybody loves these events for that reason, great to have a choice when networking and Basepoint networking offers that. The networking offers the opportunity to see the Basepoint facility and showcase the venue.

When you start a business from scratch it is crucial to keep overheads under firm control and it is here that starting in a Basepoint centre is a great way to get off the ground. With fixed costs and no lease it helps you to plan your finances. There are masses of other benefits such as advice from a host of other small businesses around you, some of which you can also use to source products. The management team in the Basepoint office are always on hand and very willing to help with even the most mundane of problems. There is a kitchen area to make coffee or lunch and a meeting room equipped for presentations. There is also a café onsite, which is another great benefit if you are unable to leave your desk. Overall I have enjoyed my last nine years at Romsey, it’s a really nice place surrounded by lots of very nice people which always helps, especially if you are not having the best of days.
